What materials can Xeno-Urban cut?
We supply and cut a wide range of materials. We always keep MDF in stock along with a limited quatity of other popular materials, but we may need up to two week's lead time in order to source the less common materials.

Which materials can Xeno-Urban NOT cut?
We are unable to cut glass or metal, as these materials require a different type of laser cutter.
Can I order laser cut objects with different finishes/coatings applied?
Yes, at an additional cost, we can offer any of the following different types of finishing coatings:
-Matt Colour (Any)
-Hammered Metal (Silver, Bronze & Gold)
-Stone (a grainy finish in Brown or Grey. Other Colours available by prior arrangement)
What is the maximum size Xeno-Urban can cut?
The Maximum size we can cut as a single piece is 1100mm by 800mm. Larger assemblied can be done by joining multiple cuts together. In the case where finishing coatings are applied, the joins can be completely invisible.
How does Xeno-Urban Charge for laser cutting?
Pre-designed items are included in our online store where the relevant prices are also shown. The prices shown on the online store do not include shipping which will be quoted separately if required.
Custom designs will be quoted on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the amount of material, cutting time and design time.
Contact us with your brief and we will issue a customised quote prior to you placing your order.
How much lead time does Xeno-Urban require to process an order?
For pre-designed items to be manufactured in standard materials, we require lead time of 1 to 2 weeks.
For custom-designed items, we will include our expected lead time in your customised quote. Most such orders can be processed within 2 to 3 weeks.
Please note that the above times do not include shipping, which is customer-location dependent, and may vary significantly very large orders.
How do I pay for my order?
For orders above R500 in value, a deposit of 50% must be paid upon order via EFT.
The balance, or the entire amount in the case of orders below R500 in value, must be paid upon collection of the items in cash or via EFT.
Please note that for orders which include shipping, the entire amount must be paid via EFT before shipping can take place.
For all EFT transactions, please use your quote number as a reference if a quote has been issued. If you are ordering from the online store and no quote was issued, please use the store item number as a reference number.
Proof of payment for all EFT's must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org
